Doorway pages (bridge pages, portal pages, soar pages, gateway pages or access pages) are net pages which might be created for the planned manipulation of search engine indexes (spamdexing).

If a traveler clicks via to a standard doorway web page from a search engine consequences web page, in maximum instances they may be redirected with a quick Meta refresh command to any other web page.

Doorway pages also are usually used for web sites that hold a blacklist of URLs acknowledged to harbor spam, inclusive of Facebook, Tumblr and Deviantart.
